Art Club

Join our weekly Art Club , a space where young artists are free to explore their creativity at their own pace. This class is all about self-directed creative flow, allowing you to work on the projects that inspire you most. With gentle guidance, encouragement, and expert advice, you'll have the support you need to bring your artistic visions to life. Whether you’re sketching, painting, crafting, or exploring new media, this class provides a relaxed, inspiring environment to develop your unique style and ideas. All levels are welcome - come as you are, and let your creativity lead the way!

You will have access to:

Screen printing facilities

Linocut materials

Relief printing press

Large selection of craft materials

Basic paints including watercolour

Marker pens

etc.

You will be encouraged to bring your own materials to suit the project that you are working on.

Tutor:

Aprille McShane is a practising visual artist and workshop leader with over 12 years experience. Her aim is to champion and support others in their creative journey. By listening, engaging and visualising, Aprille works to break down the idea of being ‘arty’ to enable an open and playful mindset that encourages people to build confidence and have a go. 

 

(DBS checked and safeguarding awareness classes have been taken).

 

Environment:

Classes are held in Aprille’s working studio with ample dry table space, washing and toilet facilities. Please note as a working studio it is important to respect the space and equipment and a clean up is required as part of the session.
